Cowhide leather
Known for its soft feel, cowhide is typically your more Tuscan-themed leather. The particulars of this leather besides its changeability is its variable thickness. Saffino leather

Dollaro leather

Leather Grades (aka different qualities of leather)
Full grain
This is the highest quality leather you can get. It is made from the top layer of the hide. Its thickness and un-sanded nature mean that its natural imperfections remain. Full-grain means that the hide retains its original softness, breathability and thickness. This leather quality is therefore characterised by its smooth and luxurious look and feel. This leather type is ideal for consumers that love simplicity. Its also for those that can appreciate a more resistant and precious material.
Top grain
Top grain leather is the second highest leather quality. It is commonly used for high-end leather products. With a split layer, all imperfections are removed. This makes the material thinner and more workable for the upholsterer. The surface of the hide is sanded and given a layered finish. This allows the hides to develop a patina and reduces breathability. This allows protection against stains too!
Corrected/genuine grain
This leather type is often deemed the third grade of leather. Corrected/genuine grain hides are produced from the remains of the top layer. It is then covered in an artificial grain. Following this step, it is sprayed with a dye to give it a more natural look. This leather takes experienced leatherworkers to ensure the natural aesthetic and functionality remain. This is your more affordable leather for those on a budget.
Bonded
This is the poorest leather quality. This is because it is produced from the leftovers of other leather hides. It is bonded together through fibre or latex sheets. The original pieces used prior to bonding will determine its visual and textured outcome.
